Akiba Fest Rules and Policies
By purchasing a ticket to Akiba Fest you hereby agree to follow and abide by all rules and policies.
1. All Rules and regulations must be followed at all times.
2. Proof of attendance must be worn at all times within the area of events. If you take off or lose your proof of attendance you will only be readmitted into event area with full purchase of ticket.
3. Absolutely no soliciting of any sorts is allowed at this event unless written approval by TenBu Productions LLC is obtained.
4. If applicable: No Sales or solicitation in Hotel rooms are allowed.
5. Unless participating in an event or contest, all large bags or packages from outside the event must be checked in during registration. All large bags will be searched.
6. No recording devices save those with written approval by TenBu productions are allowed in main event areas. If you are found with these items during these events you will be expelled from event.
7. Anyone caught stealing or shoplifting in any way will be expelled from the event remanded to authorities, and banned from all future Akiba Fest events.
8. Please maintain proper behavior at all times during event (including during shuttle rides). Akiba Fest reserves the right to expel or eject any attendee from events because of lewd, rowdy or improper behavior. Attendees must also adhere to all behavior rules and policies set forth by venue.
9. Shuttle rides are complementary- By using this service Attendees agree to do so with respect and must not destroy or deface any portion of vehicle property and behave accordingly during service. Failure to do so can lead to expulsion from event and other legal actions held against you.
10. There will be no tolerance of illegal drugs or paraphernalia at any Akiba Fest event. Any attendee caught with illegal drugs or paraphernalia will be expelled and may be turned over to local law enforcement.
11. The legal age for drinking is 21. If any underage attendee is caught drinking or intoxicated by any means in event areas they will be expelled from event. No refund of tickets will be given.
12. Lewd or rowdy behavior due to intoxication of any sorts will not be tolerated. Any Attendee behaving in such a manor will be expelled from events.
13. When taking pictures, do so with respect of others. Do not block hallways, aisles, doorways or stairwells.
14. Shoes must be worn at all times- If you are participating in the cosplay contest and your costume does not call for shoes, we ask for your safety to still wear shoes- this will not effect the judge’s decision.
Weapons:
1. Live weapons of any sort are prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: swords, knives, poles, guns, sharpened edges and other objects that could be used as projectiles or considered dangerous.
2. All weapons must be clearly recognized as props that crafted, wooden, plastic or be some sort of toy that does not fire any projectiles. All weapons must be carried in a safe and responsible manor. All prop swords, must be carried on your side or back with tips facing towards the ground. all staffs extending past 5ft must be pointed upward. Only prop guns that do not resemble actual live guns will be permitted. Guns must be plastic and be clearly recognized as a toy and have no projectiles in chamber or concealed on your person.
3. If a prop weapon is a part of your costume, please do not swing, point, them at another attendee. The misuse of any weapon or prop, such as swinging it in a public area or causing hazards to others, will result in the weapon or prop being deemed unsafe. If a weapon or prop is deemed unsafe for the con, we will ask you to remove the weapon or prop from the event areas and store it in car or a staff member will keep it in a safe area until events are over.
4. All weapons or props will be inspected and can either be approved or be rejected before entrance into events.
5. Weapon polices are subject to change without notice and are enforceable during event.
Further policies:
1. All ticket sales are final.
2. Productions LLC reserves the right to add, change or modify any or all of the rules and regulations of this or any other event held through Akiba Fest.
Clause:
By purchasing a ticket to Akiba Fest you hereby agree that Akiba Fest/ TenBu Productions LLC, their employees or associated sponsors and staff are not responsible for any damages, loss, or injury of any person in attendance. You agree that Akiba Fest, TenBu Productions LLC, their employees or associated sponsors are not responsible for any items lost, broken, damaged, or stolen while attending this event. All persons attending Akiba Fest do so at their own accord. You agree to waive any claims or causes of action, which you may now or hereafter have against Akiba Fest/ TenBu Productions LLC, their employees or sponsors during the duration of this event.
While attending Akiba Fest you herby agree to follow and heed all rules and regulations of the event. You acknowledge that some or all parts of this event will be recorded, and any such recordings may be used by Akiba Fest/ TenBu Productions for promotional or commercial purposes. Furthermore by purchasing a ticket you hereby agree that Akiba Fest/ TenBu Productions LLC may use in any way any recording materials of the events, including those of your person, voice and likeness. Akiba Fest/ TenBu Productions LLC reserves the exclusive right to use any pictures and recordings of this event for commercial purposes without the direct consent of any individual or group attending the event.
There is to be absolutely no video recordings by any party other than Akiba Fest/ TenBu Productions or related sponsors of any parts of concerts or contests. There is to be no sales of any images, pictures or video footage of this event unless written consent is given by TenBu Productions LLC. No sales or solicitations of any sort besides those authorized in writing by TenBu Productions LLC are to take place at the event. There can be no written or video description of the event without the expressed written consent of TenBu Productions LLC.
Akiba Fest reserves the right to disqualify or ban any persons from this event due to misconduct or failure to follow the terms and regulations of this event without refund of purchased tickets.
